Here we are, sitting in Incheon Airport, about to leave Seoul for a month. The end of our school year was the usual mix of chaos, sprinting to the finish of school, and of course, tears as we said goodbyes yet again to staff members and students alike. It never gets easier but we look forward with all of them to the next chapter, the next season, the next step of faith.
In the next month, Ross and I will be traveling to Sweden, Albania, Macedonia, and Greece. We will be staying with family for most of our time, with cousins outside of Stockholm and a different set of cousins in Tirana. We are so grateful for the chance to get out of Seoul for a bit and just spend time with each other and with family. There’s one other reason for this trip right now in our lives…
THIS TRIP IS A BONAFIED BABYMOON! THAT’S RIGHT! COME OCTOBER, WE WILL BE PARENTS!!!!! AHHHHH!!!!
And yes, we are both thrilled and terrified. To have the responsibility of stewarding a life is so many things…beautiful, crazy, shocking, awe-inspiring, wonder-inducing, frightening, and the list could go on. But above all, we are looking forward with much anticipation to take this step together and we are thanking God every day for this enormous blessing.
I’m sorry it’s taken us so long to make this announcement! In all honesty, I wasn’t quite sure how to announce something so new, small, and huge all at once. So, without further ado, here’s some proof that we’re not telling tall tales.
We love you all and are so grateful for the support of our family and friends during a roller-coaster of a season!
